New Grant Opportunity

Cahokia Mounds is now competing for a 25,000 grant from The National Trust for Historic Preservation’s ‘This Place Matters’ project.

The goal of the This Place Matters Community Challenge is to rally as many people around the grassroots issues of preservation in our communities as possible. This means that unlike a traditional voting-contest, participants are allowed to align themselves with one organization, one time throughout the Challenge and recruit as many people as possible to do the same.

Please help us with this community project to preserve the site by voting at www.preservationnation.org/take-action/this-place-matters/, click on the community map, then our flag, then vote.

The place that has rallied the most community support by September 15th will be awarded the grant.  Help us rally support by forwarding the information to other members of your community.

As always, thank you for your continued support in preserving and promoting this World Heritage Site!
