Professional and amateur photographers are invited to submit entries for the Sixth Annual American Indian Photography Contest. Organized by the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site in cooperation with the Collinsville Area Camera Club, the contest and exhibition features images related to North American Indians from Panama to Canada and Alaska. We are seeking photographs that transcend simple snapshots, challenging entrants to submit images that evoke the spirit of North American Indians, their people, character, events, objects, symbols, environment, and past or present culture – including archaeology.
